The New District 66

Unlawful Racially Gerrymandered District Lines Redrawn

Last June, the US District Court ruled that 11 districts in Virginia had been racially gerrymandered and ordered a redistricting. The new lines give us an unprecedented opportunity to flip this seat from red to blue and bring about the change Virginia needs, but this won’t happen if we don’t turn out the vote.

Every Vote Will Matter

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee has selected the 66th as one of this cycle’s most important districts. In 2017, Sheila got 48.2% of the vote in the gerrymandered district. State elections are often decided by a handful of votes – make sure your voice is heard.
